Of all the yarns we have worked with, bison is our favorite. Its feel is unmatched. It is soft, comfortable and warm, lanolin free and hypoallergenic - no itching. It is very durable and won't pill, making it ideal for knitting family heirlooms.
The raw fiber is extensively de-haired and we only use the longest down to insure a soft and strong yarn.
Bison yarn, in its rich, natural shades of light to dark brown, is suitable for any project. My personal favorites are shawls and scarves.
